We are a Behavior Analyst (or BCBA) only company. BCBAs and those completing their practicum hours in a Master's or Doctoral program provide all services, direct and in-direct. There are no RBTs, technicians, or behavior aides.

We offer consulting, advocacy, assessments, individualized parent training, supervision of parent led services, training, and direct services. Please see our services page for more details. Services are provided in-person (determined by location) and virtually.

Case Consultation
Case consultation on existing services. School cases, in-home, group homes, early intervention, social skills, and adult day programs. Review of all current reports, assessments, goals, data, progress or lack of, observations of the individual receiving services (amount of observations to be determined by the team), all concluding with a summary report of all findings and recommendations. (Virtual services may be possible in some cases.)
Ongoing Case management
Case management of ongoing services for in-home, group homes, and adult day programs. (Virtual services may be possible in some cases.) *Please contact us for pricing.
Functional Behavior Assessment FBA / Functional Analysis (FA)
We can help find the underlying functions of concerning behaviors with family, care provider, and school interviews, in addition to direct observations and data collection. Concerning behaviors may include aggression, self-harm, non-compliance, tantrums, and more that interfere with quality of life and preventing accessing of environments. A Functional Analysis is a more invasive method of finding the function of a behavior, but can be more accurate (call for details). With an FBA or FA, families will be provided with an extensive report detailing the assessment results, recommended behavior strategies to help prevent behaviors and how to effectively react to a behavior when they do occur, along with recommended skill acquisition goals and behavior plan.
Ongoing Parent/Caregiver Training and Consultation
Parents and caregivers are the first and foremost experts of their loved ones and sometimes they prefer to be at the front line of behavior management. This type of service is also a great option for families in rural areas or where autism services are impacted and families are put on mile long wait lists. We start with an initial FBA/FA assessment, providing recommendations and goals attainable for family members and caregivers to implement themselves in the home with ongoing weekly consultations reviewing progress and recommended modifications if needed. (Virtual services may be possible in some areas.)
Direct Services With Ongoing Parent Training and Consultation
The same services as the Ongoing Parent Training and Consultation with an additional weekly or bi-weekly direct service with your loved one implemented directly by a BCBA. (Virtual services may be possible in some cases.)

IEP Document Review and Recommendations
Review of current or pending IEP reports with a summary report of recommendations you can take back to the IEP team.
Company and school Trainings
Providing autism training and behavior management training services to schools, companies, doctor's offices, Speech therapy practitioners, Occupational therapy practitioners, daycares, and anyone who wishes to learn more. Including California Department of Education required training for Non-public schools and Non-public agencies for AB1172 compliance.
Ways to Pay
Private Pay
We are primarily a private pay company, however we understand that in order for services to be reachable to everyone, costs should be reasonable. Contact us by email or phone for our rates. PCA is a for profit company, and we need to be able to keep the lights on so if our private pay rates are just not for you keep reading to see how else you can access our services.
Regional Center Consumers
Did you know there is a program called Self-Determination when you are consumer of a regional center that entails attending a class in-person or virtually, that will enable you to be your child's own coordinator? You then have the power to use their allotted money/benefits to make the decisions of which programs, which therapists, which services you want your child to attend. No waiting for your service coordinator to get back to you or being stuck with the services in your service area. You the parent or guardian hold all the power. Insurance Reimbursement
Most insurance companies have a reimbursement rate in which if you decide to go with a provider that is outside of your network, it may be possible to get reimbursed for those services at a percentage your insurance has set. PCA would provide you with a detailed invoice or superbill that you would submit to your insurance in a claim. Each family would need to verify their out of network benefits and deductibles. This can be a complex system to navigate, and it would be up to the individual to understand this process and know how much they will be reimbursed. You would still be liable for all payments of services rendered regardless of if your insurance accepts or denies your claims. We highly recommend doing some research on the topic first.
